Step It Up Entrepreneur

May 4, 2022

If you were to look back into your past, you would find a place where you have spoken things out loud that came to fruition.  Things you’re currently doing today.  People you currently have in your life.  Opportunities that came from a simple thought, backed by hard work, consistency, and endless dedication to succeed.

Tom recorded this episode back in September of 2020 while he was still working in the GPS tracking space.

Back then, he was living in New York.

Back then, he was trying to figure out a way to improve upon what I was already doing.

It was isolating at times, and there were many moments he just wanted to shut it all down and start over again.

He had created something that owned me.

The pressure.

Stress.

A Business that required his focus and attention.

Thoughts of being trapped in something that no longer served him.

One realization came to him that propelled him to invest in a coach and later a mastermind that would go on to change his life dramatically.

It all started with Tom deciding to go all-in on himself and invest in the one person he needed to trust and count on the whole time……..himself.

Favorite Quote:

For the first time in my life, I was putting myself first above my business. That sounds fucked up, but I am a firm believer that you need to take care of yourself before anybody else. It’s like being on an airplane.  If shit hits the fan and the mask pops out, you need to put your mask on first before you put your kids’ mask on first. Once you have your mask on and have good oxygen flowing, you’ll be able to help everyone else.”
